Middle Street Project

Sage teamed up with The Joppa Group to thoughtfully restore this historic brownstone in downtown Newburyport. Taken down to the bare bones, the structure was completely rebuilt and reimagined—honoring its original character while layering in modern functionality and refined craftsmanship.

Throughout the home, custom millwork, exposed brick, and custom designed furniture bring warmth and personality to every space. From the statement-making white oak mudroom to the integrated wine cellar and appliances built into original brickwork, every detail was designed with intention. A true collaboration that blends old-world charm with modern-day living.
